JW Walls – Launch campaign



The challenge

  • This internet start-up produces innovative wall coverings. Our challenge was to create awareness and increase exposure among target customers


What we did

  • Over eight weeks, we created and delivered a combined PR and social business strategy to launch the website


The result

  • Secured national PR coverage in a range of key media including The Sunday Times Magazine, The Irish Times, Period Homes & Interiors, Essential Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms, two pieces of syndicated coverage distributed by the Press Association, Easy Food, RM Magazine, Vantage, My Daily (AOL’s lifestyle pages) and The Women’s Room (blog)
  • Built up a targeted Twitter following from 50 to 2,000 followers
  • Established a role for Facebook
  • PPC/CPC suspension trial confirmed that traffic could be driven from organic and social media alone
  • Concentrated trials from social media platforms showed site visits increased by +100% day vs. day
  • The community that was established allowed for a quantitative piece of insight that further developed the product and pricing
