The challenge

Hunkemöller, Europe’s leading lingerie brand, believes that to deliver World-Class Service, you must ‘Hire for Attitude’ and ‘Train for Skill’. Our challenge was to:

  • Raise the bar for candidate recruitment for a business that is developing from a store to a brand


What we did

  • Designed print materials
  • Designed and built the website
  • Changed the standard ‘job vacancies’ website page to a content-rich, socially integrated, multi-language recruitment portal designed to attract star quality retail talent
  • Created the video testimonials
  • Provided training on use of social media for recruitment
  • Drew up design guidelines for external recruiters and country stakeholders
  • Conducted a survey of sample candidates to assess how their experience had improved


The result

  • Candidates attracted to Hunkemöller from premium brands passionate about customer service and fashion
  • Six countries now use the same approach to recruitment with consistent employee branding
  • 91% of candidates surveyed would recommend Hunkemöller as a place to work, whether they were offered a job or not; 86% described the recruitment process as good or very good
